To comply with Canadian federal regulations, Moka must verify your identity before we can move funds into your Moka investment account.

You might be asked to provide some additional documentation after you sign up so that we can confirm your identity. Often a bank statement or a utility bill in PDF format will do the trick!

The document must be original, i.e. an electronic document or PDF download received by email or from the issuer/service provider’s website. Your name and current address both need to be visible and accurate on the document.  

Please send any documents we request to support@moka.ai. Once we've received your documents and verified your identity, we'll be able to start making transfers into your Moka investment account. 🎉
