To keep transfers manageable and transfer fees low, we process transfers weekly on Monday morning. It is not possible to modify this setting at this time. Moka transfers money from your bank to your Moka account weekly on Mondays, but it can take some time for the money to be withdrawn from your funding source and appear in your investment account.

Most Canadian banks impose a limit on your monthly transactions and charge for each transaction over this limit. To keep transactions at a minimum, we aggregate all of your roundups, boosts, and recurring deposits and transfer the grand total from your bank account to your Moka investment account once a week on Mondays. Expect your goal(s) to be updated every week on Monday or Tuesday. Your funding source will be debited between Tuesday and Thursday, depending on your financial institution.

This way, we withdraw money from your bank account only 4 to 6 times a month, depending on the number of Mondays in the month. Moka’s monthly fee will always appear as a separate item in your bank statement, separate from your roundups.

Our monthly fee is $7.00/month plus the taxes that apply in your province of residence. There are never additional fees or hidden costs. To verify that your bank does not charge you an additional fee for linking your bank account to Moka, please contact your financial institution directly and ask about their specific policy.

P.S. Don't forget that we’ll reset your weekly roundups to $0 after depositing them in your goal(s) on Monday!
