You can deposit funds to your Mogo investment account using two methods:
Interac e-Transfer Request (fastest)
Bill Payment (through your online banking)
Interac e-Transfer Request (Fastest)
You can send an Interac e-Transfer Request directly from your Mogo app.
How to deposit via Interac e-Transfer Request:
Log in to your Mogo app.
Tap the Account tab at the bottom right.
Tap Transfers.
Tap Deposit to Mogo.
Choose your account type:
Personal
TFSA
RRSP
Enter the amount you want to deposit.
Follow the on-screen steps and tap Confirm to complete the deposit.
Note: Interac e-Transfer deposits usually arrive within 1–30 minutes (often even faster).
Bill Payment (via Online Banking)
Prefer to fund your account through online banking? You can use the Bill Payment option.
Important Setup Information:
Make sure the name displayed on your banking profile matches the name on your Mogo account.
If you are using a joint bank account, log in with your own bank card credentials so your name appears correctly.
Each Mogo investment account (Personal, TFSA, RRSP) has a unique account number. You must set up a separate payee for each account you want to fund.
How to deposit via Bill Payment:
Log in to your online or mobile banking platform and navigate to the Bill Payment section.
(This section may have slightly different names depending on your bank.)
Add a new payee by searching for "CI Investment Services".
Do not select any payees labeled "Mogo" — those are for Mogo loan products or prepaid cards.
It is normal if the payee appears as “CI Investment Services Inc” or a similar variation.
Add the correct account number for the account you want to deposit into:
In the Mogo app, go to Account > Transfers > Deposit to Mogo to find your account number.
Tap to copy the number and paste it into your banking platform.
(Optional) Add a nickname for easy identification:
MogoPersonal for Personal accounts
MogoTFSA for TFSA accounts
MogoRRSP for RRSP accounts
Save the payee.
Make a payment as you would for a standard bill.
Note: Bill Payment deposits typically take 2–4 business days to process (excluding weekends and holidays).
